The 2024 Glenrose Vineyard Picpoul is a unique one, it only contains the Summit block of Picpoul and not the usual co-ferment of the Summit and Ridgeline blocks.  The Ridgeline block was lost to the historic heat spike that occurred the first week of October, but the Summit persevered and gets to shine on its own. Think more stone fruits, amped-up tropical notes of kaffir lime, ripe pineapple, and a salty, mouth-watering finish.  When I enjoy our Picpoul, I am transported to an evening in the tropics, taking in a beautiful sunset with the freshest fish tacos.  Beach or pool, this is the wine.
